Beast of Big Creek is a true mountain race with a seventeen year history of running the steep trails to the iconic summit of Mount Ellinor in the Olympic Mountains in Washington State on the West Coast of the United States. For the first time in 2026 Rock Candy Running is inviting the runners of Skyrunner World Series from around the world to celebrate the best of the Pacific Northwest.

The entire Rock Candy Running team is excited and honored to welcome you to Mount Ellinor above Lake Cushman by Hoodsport, Washington.

• We will offer two races in 2026: Skyrace and Forest Loop.
• Runners who were signed up in 2025 and have a rollover credit will receive a separate email ahead of general registration opening with information on how to claim your credit.
• Elite runners interested in joining us should reach out to us at the email listed above or contact the Skyrunner World Series athlete management team directly.
• Information on logistics, housing, and travel accommodations will be made available as soon as we have this all sorted.
